My sycophants like to tell me what a great leader I am. That’s their honest opinion and who am I to tell them otherwise? I like that brag that I’m a reader, and with my limited repertoire of books on leadership, somehow this qualifies me to be a great leader even though the evidence of

Some people would describe me as narcissistic. But is that really fair? I will admit that I exhibit an excessive sense of self-importance, but this just masks my low self-esteem, which often results in manipulative behavior. If I’m going to be honest, I will say that my arrogance requires constant admiration from my sycophants, which

I love to make my merry way around campus with my personal assistant in tow. Lauren Horst is a close confidant of all my activities. Most people assume we are a couple from the way she follows me like a puppy dog. It doesn’t help that every off-campus event requiring an overnight stay finds her

Psalm 101:5 “Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off.” I know what the Bible says  about hidden, whispering attacks, but I am not afraid to slander students that I don’t like in the name of “communication.” Amazingly enough, this type of speech is protected by the university. I’m not bragging, but the

I like to take the UCO students to Skywalker Ranch once a year to record the choir and the lame songs I’ve chosen for them, but since I have absolutely no faith in the instrumental students, they don’t get to go, and I have the music department staff make up the gap with canned digital

The picture above of the UCO is a blast from the past. A bygone day when I had a lot of students. Now, it’s just a glorified choir. It’s not even a full orchestra because the attrition rate – due to my inept leadership – has seen my instrumental students dwindle from fifteen to just

It’s an open secret that my greatest talent isn’t conducting, but cultivating an inner circle within the UCO. Merit is wonderfully unpredictable, but favoritism is so much easier to manage. Why leave success to auditions and evaluations when a well-timed compliment and unwavering loyalty can work such wonders? Naturally, I insist every decision is based

Jessup promises the wind when it comes to their graduate degrees, but the music department degrees and concentrations are basically garbage. They are loosely based upon the curriculum of other, much better, schools. The university promises meat and potatoes, but delivers cotton candy, and while this is sweet and tasty, it is not nutritious and

My conscience is bothering me and thought I would claim my space on the world wide web and build a website to confess my shortcomings in an effort to ease my conscience before I lose more hair and stress eat to gain even more weight. Correction, it’s more like gloating to brag about what I
